Timeline ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using Timeline you agree to the practices described here.
We collect the account information you provide when you sign up — your email address, or the basic profile details from Google if you sign in with Google. We also store the content you create in the app: your entries, folders, tags, notes, goals, and timer sessions.
Your data is used to operate the app: to save and sync your entries across devices, to power features like your coach, streaks, and check-ins, and to keep your account secure. Your entries are yours — we do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Coach and planning features send relevant entries and goals to an AI provider to generate reflections and suggestions. AI is completely optional. You can turn off AI features in settings anytime, and Timeline works exactly the same.
When you use AI features, the content is processed to produce your results. Your data is never used to train other models without your explicit consent. We do not sell or share your data for training purposes.
You own your data. Export all your tasks, folders, notes, and coach history as JSON anytime from the app settings. No lock-in — your data is portable and belongs to you.
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers using industry-standard security. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from within the app, or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your entries from our active systems.
