📝 Logging
Type anything in the input bar at the top of the timeline and press Enter (or tap the + button). There are no categories to choose, no forms to fill in, just write what happened and it joins your thread immediately. You can go back and assign it to a folder or change its status any time.
Yes. On mobile, tap the + button with an empty input and the camera opens automatically. Take a photo and it appears as a preview strip above the input, add an optional caption, then tap + to log it. The photo is stored in the cloud (Supabase Storage) and appears inline on your timeline.
Each task has a status colour you can change by tapping the dot:
Amber, not done yet (pending)
Green, done / resolved
Red, blocked or a concern
No colour, a neutral log entry, no action needed
Tasks marked amber appear in the pending panel so nothing gets lost.
Tap any task to expand its options. From there you can edit the text inline, change its folder, change its status colour, or delete it entirely. Changes save automatically.
When turned on, this filter hides older tasks that have no status colour (i.e. neutral log entries from previous days). It keeps the view focused on anything still pending or flagged as a concern, without removing anything from your record.
📁 Folders & Tags
Every task lives in one primary folder (e.g. Work, Personal, Routine). You can create as many folders as you like from the Manage Folders panel. Folders appear in the Folder Review section, where each one gets its own timeline view.
In addition to its primary folder, a task can be tagged into any number of other folders. Tagged tasks show up in those folders' Folder Review timelines alongside the folder's own entries, so one entry can be visible in multiple places without being duplicated.
Folder Review (accessible from Manage Folders → Settings) shows each folder as its own mini-timeline, combining tasks whose primary folder matches and tasks tagged into it. Jump directly to any folder's section by clicking its name.
Each folder can be given special behaviours in its settings:
Lifecycle, tasks default to amber (pending) and support a duration timer
Carry-over, incomplete tasks from yesterday reappear today
Routine AI, the Routine folder gets AI-suggested tasks instead of the level slider
Plan Mode, turns the folder's coach into a planning assistant
Flow Session, enables the timed focus session for that folder
Image Timeline, flips the folder view into a photo spine
Default login view, opens this folder's coach page automatically on sign-in
Time Tracker, logs start/finish times and shows a daily summary
Anything filed under a folder named Priority is pinned in its own box above the main timeline, it stays visible regardless of scroll position until you mark it done or move it. Everything else can scroll; Priority can't.
The Routine folder is designed for habits. Tasks logged here default to amber. If yesterday's most recent Routine task was never marked done, a fresh copy of it automatically appears today, so the habit keeps showing up until it's actually completed.
🧠 The Coach
Every folder has its own AI coach. Set a goal for the folder, and the coach reads every task you log as material for its feedback, a running conversation grounded in what actually happened, not just what you meant to do. Tap New check-in on a folder's coach page to get fresh feedback.
There are five coach styles to choose from:
⚡ Level Up, breaks goals into strictly the immediate next step
🧘 Zen Master, focuses on process, mindfulness, and steady progress
✨ Identity Coach, focuses on who you're becoming, not just what you did
🔥 Relentless, keeps pushing until something actually happens
Switch persona at any time, the same goal and log history, five different lenses.
Coach Mode (the brain icon in the top bar) reads every folder's goal at once and returns exactly five things: one concrete task, one thought-provoking question, one quote, one break idea, and one focus tip for the next hour. Enable Weekly Insights to also get a summary of your week's patterns. Add context notes to tell the coach about anything unusual going on in your life.
Folders with the Plan Mode behaviour enabled replace the standard coach with a planning assistant. It puts your own notes first and builds a personalised daily overview around them, a briefing, the single biggest-impact task, suggested tasks, and helpful notes, then stays open for follow-up questions in a running chat.
Every folder has a Progression page where the AI drafts a plan toward your goal at five levels of detail, from two big-picture milestones (Overview) down to a dozen granular subtasks (Details). Slide between levels to zoom in or out. Log any AI-generated task straight to your timeline with one tap. Your own existing tasks and subtasks are shown as a path alongside the AI plan.
The Routine folder replaces the level slider with four focus lenses: focus for the day, focus for the week, a suggested routine, or a fixed routine.
⏱ Flow Session
A Flow Session is a timed focus block for a folder with the Flow Session behaviour enabled. Start one from the folder's coach page, then work through your tasks one at a time. A live clock tracks total session time and per-task time. Tasks are logged automatically as you complete each step.
Yes. The timer is wall-clock based, it calculates elapsed time from when the session started, minus any time you were paused. Switching tabs, refreshing the page, or even closing and reopening the browser won't reset it.
Yes. The Pause button freezes both the session timer and the per-task timer. The elapsed time at the moment of pausing is preserved, and the clock picks back up exactly where it left off when you resume.
When a flow session is active, a small orange pill is pinned at the bottom-left of every page in the app. Tapping it takes you back to the flow session immediately, so you can navigate away (to check the journal, notes, etc.) without losing your place.
📓 Journal & Energy
The journal (notepad icon) has two views, daily (one note per day) and weekly (the full week on one screen). Notes auto-save as you type. Navigate between days with the arrow buttons. Each note is tied to a calendar date, so your record stays organised without any manual filing.
Every task you log is quietly scored by AI for its estimated impact on your energy and mood. The two bars in the journal show today's running totals, starting at 100% and moving up or down based on those estimates. If you disagree with a score, click the delta value on any task and correct it, the bars update instantly.
Each folder tracks eight scores you can cycle through:
Balance Score, how evenly you're spreading attention across all folders
Streak, consecutive days with activity in this folder
Days since last activity
Longest gap, most days in a row with no activity
Average rate of work, tasks per active day
Tasks today
Tasks this week
Weekly achievements, a number you award yourself
🎨 Themes & Appearance
Seven themes are available from the palette icon in the top bar:
Terminal, dark green on near-black, monospaced vibe
Brutalist, stark grey, heavy borders, zero decoration
Editorial, warm cream, editorial serif tones
Calm, rounded corners, soft sage palette
Visionary (accessible from the account menu) is a standalone canvas for capturing and visualising ideas. It's a separate creative space outside the main timeline, designed for longer-form thinking, brainstorming, and exporting ideas as images.
☁️ Account & Data
Yes. Sign in with Google or email and every task, note, folder, coach history, and goal is saved to the cloud and available on any device you sign into. Changes are auto-saved within a second of each edit.
Go to Account Settings → Download my data. This downloads a JSON file containing all your tasks, folders, folder settings, notes, energy logs, and coach history. The file is dated and human-readable. You can use it as a personal backup or to migrate your data elsewhere.
Yes, open Account Settings and scroll to the Activity Calendar. Days with activity are marked with a small dot. Click any day to see every task logged that day (with time, folder, and any photo), the day's note, and any coach responses saved on that date.
Your data stays in the cloud and is not deleted when you cancel, we recommend downloading a backup first via Account Settings if you'd like a local copy. You can resubscribe at any time and your full history will still be there.
Timeline is $10 per year, billed annually. There is a free trial period so you can explore all features before committing. Billing is managed through Stripe and can be cancelled or updated any time from Account Settings → Manage billing.
